Taiwan prosecutors are seeking a 12-year prison term for each of three foreigners accused of stealing 83mn Taiwan dollars ($2.6mn) from hacked cash machines in Taiwan in July, state media reported on Tuesday.
Police in Taiwan said on Sunday they had arrested three out of 16 foreign suspects they believe hacked into the cash machines of a major local bank, withdrawing more than $2mn.
Operators of jewellery stores and travel agencies in Doha, including some souvenir shops in Souq Waqif, have told Gulf Times that they are not imposing extra charges or commissions from point of sales (POS) transactions.
