HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on Thursday issued Law No 13 of 2016 on protecting personal data.
The Cabinet has referred to the Advisory Council the amended Penal Code, which includes penalties for clicking and sharing photographs of accident victims.
The Advisory Council yesterday held its weekly regular meeting under the chairmanship of Speaker HE Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Khulaifi.
