Dozens of air strikes hit the northern Syrian city of Aleppo overnight, a monitor and defence worker said, continuing a fierce air campaign by Syrian government and allied forces since a ceasefire broke down almost a week ago.
At least 11 civilians were killed in Syria's second city Aleppo, a monitor said Sunday, in one of the highest single tolls since a fragile truce came into force.
At least 16 civilians, among them eight children, were killed on Friday in air strikes on the northern Syrian city of Raqqa by unidentified planes, a monitoring group said.
