Indian police have detained five people after a fireworks display at a Hindu temple set off explosions and fire killing 108 people, in one of the worst accidents at a religious festival.
A major explosion and fire swept through a temple in southern India’s Kerala state on Sunday killing 86 people after families and others had gathered for a fireworks display.
