The Palestinian government decided on Tuesday to delay municipal elections for up to four months after the high court ruled they should be held only in the West Bank and not in the Gaza Strip.
Lebanese headed to the polls for the first time in six years on Sunday for municipal elections including in Beirut, where a new grassroots campaign is taking on entrenched parties.
