Police in the Armenian capital Yerevan on Thursday arrested dozens of protesters following a night of violent clashes over a four-day hostage standoff in which pro-opposition gunmen killed one officer and took several hostage.
A group of armed men seized a police station in Armenia's capital Yerevan along with an unknown number of hostages on Sunday morning, the country's security service said.
Qatar Airways yesterday added Armenia to its global route map by commencing a four-times-a-week service between Doha and Yerevan.
