The Health Inspection Section at Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality has continued inspection tours at the food outlets within its jurisdiction, adopting the motto 'Your safety is our top priority.'
Officers from the Health Control Section at the Municipal Control Department of Doha Municipality conducted 1,430 inspections at food facilities within its jurisdiction last month, resulting in the closure of 10 errant outlets.
Some 275 commercial outlets and service providers were found violating stipulations of Law No 8 for 2008 on consumer protection last year by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC).
