Sudanese security agents have arrested several opposition politicians over the past two days to prevent any likely protests against Khartoum's decision to hike fuel prices, their parties said on Sunday.
Fuel prices in Qatar will fluctuate in response to changes in the global market from May 1, the Ministry of Energy and Industry announced on Tuesday.
Qatar Fuel (Woqod) has hiked petrol prices steeply with effect from midnight.
Saudi Arabia has raised domestic energy prices, including fuel prices, state news agency SPA said on its Twitter account on Monday.
