A daredevil skydiver on Saturday became the first to jump from a height of 25,000 feet (7,620 metres) without a parachute, landing in a net in southern California, a spokesman said.
Fearless American skydiver Luke Aikins will leap out of a plane at 25,000 feet (7,600 metres) without a parachute and attempt to land safely in the California desert in a live television broadcast dubbed "Heaven Sent".
