Two key elements of the North Road Enhancement Project - the Izghawa Interchange and a bridge linking Al Huwaila Road with North Road - were opened to traffic on Saturday.
Traffic heading from Jeryan Jenaihat area to Al Shamal Road will be diverted to a newly constructed single-lane dual carriageway section to the roundabout north of Al Kheesa petrol station.
