Qatar Airways and Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) have launched a new waste reduction and recycling programme in Doha, further contributing towards local and international environmental solutions.
The reuse of treated sewage effluent will provide a major water source in Qatar for agriculture and industrial applications and reduce the demand on desalinated water and major capital investments to build more desalination plants
Art is a significant tool to help raise awareness on the role of recycling in protecting and preserving the environment, a member of QatART Handmade Community said.
The Cabinet approved recommendations by the Ministry of Environment that seek to enhance waste management capacity in the country.
