Qatar University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences held a ceremony to honour outstanding students on the Dean’s List for the 2012 spring semester who obtained 3.5 rate or higher, totalling 287 students, of whom 259 are female students and 28 male students from various disciplines.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dr Iman Mostafawi, Vice-Dean for Scientific Research Affairs Dr Mohamed Ahmdna, Associate Dean for Student Affairs Dr Wisam al-Madhoun and a large number of parents of the honorees and university and faculty staff.
In a speech she gave on the occasion, Dr Iman Mostafawi praised the outstanding students urging them to continue the journey of excellence.
