Barwa Real Estate Group and subsidiaries, along with Qatar Rail, will observe the Sports Day through a number of sports, social and cultural events.
All preparations and activities, being co-ordinated by a team from the Barwa Group Communications, during the day will take place in the Diplomatic Club in aiming to align with Emiri Decree No (80) 2011, released by the Heir Apparent HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, which announces the second Tuesday of February each year to be the National Sport Day in Qatar.
Programmes of activities, to be organised for staff members and their families, will also aim to raise awareness of the importance of sport and its role in the lives of individuals and communities.
Events during the day will include competitions in football, basketball and volleyball, in addition to other sports and cultural activities aimed at adults and children.
Participants who show enthusiasm and willingness to be part of the day will be gifted during the event.
Barwa Real Estate Group Communication director Hamad Rashid al-Kuwari said: “The Sports Day team has been holding intensive meetings with all stakeholders to put together a special celebration capable of delivering the main message which the Sports Day aims to convey.”
