Textec opens office in Qatar

US-based Textec International, which has been supporting construction and oil and gas projects in Qatar and Middle East since 2005, has opened its regional office and showroom in Barwa Village.

The company recently held a customer appreciation event at the Crowne Plaza for major companies like Hyundai, Hitachi, CDC, Voltas, QDVC , Qatar Kentz  and Oryx GTL.

Textec International Qatar chairman Sultan Essa R al-Sulaiti said Textec has a major role to play as Qatar develops the infrastructure for Fifa World Cup 2022.

Textec USA president and chief executive officer Sathyajith C P said the company will continue to provide all specified MEP materials from Europe and US to construction companies .

Textec represents US-based manufactures like  Erico, Flexmaster, Orion Pipe (Watts water technology), Harris Flux and others from Europe such as Prysmian Cable Components and Accessories and Elpress electrical components for rail projects.

Textec Europe regional manager Raman Sambasivan, Erico regional sales manager Bill Youll and Products manager Philippe were present during the appreciation event.
