Two popular animated shows, Smurfs and Ben 10, will be staged at The Gate Mall as part of the Eid al-Adha festivities organised by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA).
Smurfs, the American-Belgian animated comedy, will have live shows at The Gate Mall on the first floor from October 15 to 20. The show timings are 5.30pm, 7pm and 9pm. Following closely, award-winning cartoon series Ben 10 will be staged from October 22 to 27 at 5.30pm, 7.30pm and 9pm.
The Smurfs were originally introduced as a series of characters by a comic artist, which then later evolved into a television franchise that was centred on a group of small blue fictional creatures. The series aims to positively impact children by incorporating good values and morals into each episode.
Ben 10 is a popular Cartoon Network show that entertains children by entwining multiple stories with a science fiction concept.
“Based on the successful turnout of the Barney and Friends show during Ramadan, we are thrilled at the opportunity of collaborating with QTA in order to bring two of the most well-liked shows in the cartoon industry to Qatar,” said Isabella Ibrahim, marketing and PR representative of The Gate Mall. “The Gate Mall and QTA are happy to join in and add to the nation’s cultural celebrations and will continue hosting animated entertainment shows in Qatar.”
