Qapco: ‘Safety always comes first’


Qatar Petrochemical Company (Qapco)  is a golden sponsor of the Civil Defence Exhibition and Conference Qatar 2013, organised by the General Directorate of Civil Defence, Ministry of Interior. The three-day event will conclude tomorrow.
Dr Mohamed Yousef al-Mulla, vice chairman & CEO of Qapco, said: “Safety always comes first for Qapco as we take a pro-active approach to ensure that our operations  are safe today and in the future. Our HSE management systems and our HSEQ policy are aligned with the essential pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030 and define that we conduct business in a manner that is compatible with the environmental and economic needs of our community, while protecting the safety, security and health of our employees, contractors and stakeholders.
Dr al-Mulla praised the efforts of General Directorate of Civil Defence which aims to raise awareness about safety and security across Qatar.
