Al Jazeera press earns ISO certifications

Al Jazeera Printing Press officials and staff with Quality Austria officials after the press earned the ISO 9001-2008, ISO 14001-2004 and OHSAS 18001-2007 certifications under the Integrated Quality Management system by Quality Austria Training, Certification and Evaluation Ltd.

Al Jazeera Printing Press has earned the ISO 9001-2008, ISO 14001-2004 and OHSAS 18001-2007 certifications under the Integrated Quality Management system by Quality Austria Training, Certification and Evaluation Ltd.
“This new honour takes Al Jazeera to new heights and increases its momentum,” aid Konrad Scheiber, general manager of Quality Austria. “Quality Austria always acts as a strong partner helping to achieve the goals,” said Scheiber.
Al Jazeera Printing Press director Jacob Kannath and production manager Ananda Desapriya received the certificates from Quality Austria’s Prabath De Silva.
Al Jazeera Printing Press has a team of more than 100 employees. In business since 2003, Al Jazeera went through a process of extensive modernisation following an ownership change in 2007 and became one of the fastest-growing and leading full-service commercial printing presses in Qatar.  
“Al Jazeera has received best supplier award from Qatar Foundation in 2011 and Dubai International Print award 2012 from Printing & Publishing group under Dubai Chamber of Commerce,” said director Jacob Kannath.
