Malayalam actor Augustine died in Kozhikode yesterday, his family said. He was 58. The actor is survived by his wife and two daughters, one of whom is actress Ann Augustine. His funeral will be held today. He began his acting career through theatre, and entered the Malayalam film industry in the mid eighties. He has acted in more than 100 films including Commissioner, Devasuram, Ekalavyan, Aaram Thampuran, Kazhcha and Katha Parayumbol. Augustine suffered a stroke in 2010. Though not fully fit, he acted in a few films. His last film was Shutter.
