Emergency workers at the scene of a train wreck in the Bronx borough of New York yesterday. The train bound for New York’s Grand Central Station derailed in the Bronx with at least four people dead after several rail cars left the tracks near the Spuyten Duyvil railroad station. The southbound train was travelling from Poughkeepsie to Grand Central Terminal when the accident occurred. The derailment occurred in a wooded area where the Hudson and Harlem rivers meet. At least one rail car was lying toppled near the water and others were lying on their sides. There was no official word yet on possible causes of the accident. Many travellers suffered broken limbs or injuries to their heads or necks.
