The 8th annual MultaQa Qatar conference will be held from March 10 to 11, 2014, bringing together top 10% of insurance decision makers from across the region to discuss the opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa insurance market.
Finance Minister HE Ali Sherif al-Emadi is expected to deliver a keynote address at the conference, which is being organised by the Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFCA) and Global Reinsurance at St Regis.
“In 2014 we are expecting 500 attendees. As per the latest figure, we have confirmed attendance from over 250 senior executives,” the organiser said.
“The insurance sector plays a pivotal role in promoting the economic and social development of the Mena region. MultaQa Qatar offers a unique opportunity for regional and international executives and experts to share their knowledge and experience, contributing to the industry’s further professionalisation,” QFCA CEO Shashank Srivastava had earlier said.
