Ebn Sina Medical, a subsidiary of Aamal QSC and a leading medical organisation in Qatar representing some of the world’s best known pharmaceutical brands, held its annual family day for more than 250 staff members and their families from both Ebn Sina Medical and Aamal Medical.
The event was to show Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim al-Thani’s appreciation of the staff’s efforts and their continued contribution to the companies’ success.
Held at Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim al-Thani’s museum in Al Shahaniya, 20km outside Doha, the family day began with a guided tour of the unique museum, followed by outdoor activities that included a friendly football match.
Sheikh Faisal, chairman of both Al Faisal Holding and Aamal Company, and members of the Ebn Sina executive committee and management hosted a dinner for the staff and their families in the evening.
The best performers from each department in Ebn Sina Medical and Aamal Medical received certificates and gifts from Sheikh Faisal to acknowledge their achievements. Overall, 36 staff members were honoured - 22 from Ebn Sina Medical and 14 from Aamal Medical.
The staff and their families also took part in a presentation outlining the companies’ plans to expand business and double market growth in the upcoming year.
Dr Samy Hanna, acting general manager of Ebn Sina Medical, said: “Our staff is a key asset in the success of our business and this family day is a good opportunity for us to reward them and their families for their commitment throughout the year. Through their ongoing hard work, Ebn Sina Medical will continue to grow its market share in Qatar.”
