Katara - the Cultural Foundation has launched an artists and critics forum, Katara Cultural Forum.
The new forum is aimed at bringing together all professionals in the fields of theatre, singing, drama and production within Katara Cultural Forum to establish and encourage an environment for artistic creativity.
Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, general manager, Katara, said the forum would hone and develop the creative skills of talented people in these fields. “It would also offer them the necessary support and platform needed to realise their potential in different fields of arts and culture.”
He affirmed that it is among the main priorities of Katara to revive cultural activities in Qatar and the region and would exert all efforts to be open to different cultures to benefit from the rich experiences of others.
Dr al-Sulaiti said Katara is also keen to take part in all important activities, festivals and cultural events.
