“This year’s activities raise awareness about the importance sport can have on leading healthier lifestyles,” Qatar Football Association President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al-Thani said yesterday.
“Celebrating this significant day with our employees and their families is a sustainable approach towards bringing the Qatar National Vision 2030 to reality,” he added.
Employees from the Qatar Football Association, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy and the Qatar Stars League will set aside their football organisational duties today to celebrate the State of Qatar’s 3rd annual National Sports Day.
Held at the world-renowned Aspire Zone, the football family will come together with a range of sporting activities to raise awareness about the health benefits associated with active lifestyles – in line with the vision of National Sport Day.
