HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada with Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Pakistan’s Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources in Doha yesterday.
The Qatar-Pakistan Joint Ministerial Commission held its third meeting in Doha yesterday, during which the two sides discussed means to enhance relations between the two countries in various fields, mainly energy, commerce and economy.
The Qatari side was led by HE the Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada, while Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, headed the Pakistani side.
The two sides discussed means to enhance relations between the two countries in various fields, mainly energy, commerce and economy. They also discussed investment opportunities and co-operation in the fields of finance, business, civil aviation, human resources development, education, scientific research and cultural relations.
The Qatari side included a number of senior officials from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Petroleum International, Qatargas, Qatar Electricity and Water Company, Qatar Holding, Qatar Airways, Qatar Tourism Authority and Hassad Food Company.
The Pakistani delegation included Syed Hassan Raza, Pakistan’s Ambassador and a number of senior officials from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, and Pakistan State Oil Company.
