Vodafone Qatar has announced that it has signed up Grand Mall, located at West End Park near the Karwa head office in Messaimeer, as one of its newest retailers. |
The partnership follows an earlier announcement of Vodafone tying up with Al Meera and Woqod with the aim of continuously expanding its retail footprint in the country and spreading its outreach to new and existing customers at key locations and anywhere they are in the country.
In line with this partnership, customers can now visit Grand Mall to buy prepaid SIM cards and recharge cards. Customers can also enquire about and subscribe to Vodafone’s entire range of postpaid and prepaid plans, the latest of which is Red - offering unlimited local calling and SMS to anyone in Qatar, a first in the country, and hours of free international calling to their favourite numbers. Moreover, a number of Red plans include roaming minutes and all the plans include mobile Internet.
Mohamed al-Yami, director of external affairs at Vodafone Qatar, said: “This is another significant retail milestone for us this year, which marks our steadfast commitment to expanding our presence in Qatar and providing our customers with service channels that are convenient and accessible. Our strategic expansion plans for 2014 will see us setting up additional retail touch points at various locations in Qatar.”
Customers can also purchase other postpaid and prepaid solutions such as the Local Dhs25, the Int’l 60 offer, the International Calling Card, the India and Bangladesh International propositions and the International Discount.
Grand Mall spans a retail area of 135,000sqft with a full-fledged supermarket and department store in addition to a spacious food court, accommodating leading brands. West End Park provides over 3,000 car parking lots and more than 200 bus parking facilities for its customers. The other attractions at West End Park include a multiplex, an amphitheatre and a cricket as well as money exchange centres and a chain of restaurants.
