The winning horses and their owners in the different classes being given their trophies in the 23rd Qatar international Arabian Horse show held at the outdoor arena of the Qatar Equestrian Federation yesterday.

Saudi Arabia’s Adel Al Khalediah stole the limelight, while clinching the first place in the Class 5 with the highest points of 93 awarded to a winner during the opening day of the 23rd Qatar International Arabian Horse Show at the outdoor arena of the Qatar Equestrian Federation yesterday.
Bred by prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, Adel Al Khalediah mesmermised the judges with his looks and was a clear winner ahead of Al Shaqab’s Hadidy Al Shaqab who garnered 91.25 for second place. Maestro Des Alpes (90.75) was third, to give its owner two of the three top finishes.
Poland’s SK Balika bred Perfinka took the first place in the Class 3A with 92.50. Ajman Stud’s Nasty OS was a close second with 91.75 points, while Abdulla Mohammed al-Nouis owned Clarissima was third with 91.25 points. The second and third placed Pure Arabian’s represented United Arab Emirates in the show.
Oman’s Royal Cavalry also took a win with AJA Europa edging out Ajman Stud’s Inspired Najla in Class 3B for Fillies. AJA Europa gained the judges nod with 91.75 points, while Inspired Najla was a close second with 91.50 points. Al Shaqab’s Fai Al Shaqab also impressed to take the third place with 91.25 points.
Earlier Al Shaqab dominated in Class 1A for Fillies, taking the top three places. Al Farida Al Shaqab (90.50), Al Anood Al Shaqab (90.25) and Leen Al Shaqab (88.50) impressed the most to be clear winners in this class.
