Rabban Hospitality, a member of Al Rabban Holding, has announced that construction on its latest development — a 46 storey executive high-rise tower in West Bay, has commenced.
The delivery of the tower is expected in the third quarter of 2015.
Nasser Khalid al-Rabban, director, who is over-all in-charge of the project, said the company had pursued the idea of securing a reputable and internationally recognised operator, to manage the operation of this iconic tower.
After a process of due diligence, Frasers Hospitality was chosen. The development will be branded as Frasers Suites West Bay Doha.
Frasers Hospitality, the Singapore-based serviced apartment operator, said the signing of the agreement with Rabban Hospitality would give the company a second property in Doha. The signing is a mark of the company’s future expansion plans in the Middle East.
Guus Bakker, chief operating officer (Europe and Middle East) said: “A second property in Doha has always been a priority for us and is an indication of the importance of Qatar in the region and our development plans. This new venture in Doha signifies future expansion in the region with further properties already agreed in the GCC. Soon there will be nine Frasers Hospitality properties in the Middle East”.
The current portfolio worldwide, of Frasers Hospitality, including those in the pipeline, stands at 86 properties in 45 cities, and more than 15,000 apartments. This 46 storey tower was designed by Arab Engineering Bureau (AEB), one of the leading multidisciplinary consultancy firms in Qatar.
