As many as 144 Audi customers of different nationalities have registered for the Audi Quattro Cup 2014 it was announced by Q-Auto, the official dealer for Audi in Qatar. Among these participants, more than 18 Qataris will participate in the event which will be held in Doha on April 5, 2014.
The Audi quattro Cup Golf Tournament Series was established in 1991. In 2013, Audi dealers from 52 different countries organised a total of 965 tournaments and over 100,000 amateur golfers participated. More than 1.4 million golfers have taken part in an Audi quattro Cup tournament over the last 23 years.
The Doha Golf Club will be accommodating the one-day event in Qatar, where participants will kick off the tournament early morning, playing at one of the largest golf courses in Doha. Two shotguns (5 hours each) are scheduled to last throughout the day, concluding with the announcement of the winners in the evening.
Commenting on the event, General Sales and Marketing Manager at Audi Qatar, Mohamed Talkhawi said: “We’re excited to bring the Audi quattro Cup to Qatar, as it has successfully established itself as a sports capital by becoming increasingly engaged in hosting and supporting many acclaimed sports events.

Audi has also hosted this tournament all over the world for decades and continuously strives to upgrade the tournaments in terms of size, skill and atmosphere.
