The final race of the Life is Engineering contest, being organised by Qatar University for local high schools, will take place today at the Losail International Circuit. Teams from Omar bin Abdulaziz, Al Furqan, Mohamed Abdulwahab, Mus’ab bin Umeir, Tareq bin Ziyad, Hamad bin Jassim, and Ahmad bin Hambal high schools are competing. The contest aims to instil a passion for engineering among the participants. The teams race the cars they assemble, and the winners get to visit a Toyota plant in Japan. Two teams are seen preparing their cars.
