Qatar Steel has co-sponsored the annual art and handicrafts expo of Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of People with Special Needs (QSRPSN) as part of its support for charitable, humanitarian, educational events and activities.
The recently held one-day event was organised and inaugurated by QSRPSN’s educational and rehabilitation centres for girls, and saw the attendance of senior officials from the society, specialists and other dignitaries. Portraits and handicrafts were displayed at the event, reflecting the special needs students’ capabilities, talent and craft skills.
Qatar Steel’s initiative to support and sponsor the expo emerged from the vital role played by QSRPSN to rehabilitate special needs students, to help them mingle with the community, assist in their self-recognition and encourage them to further develop their artistic talent and potential.
