Commercial Bank summer offer for credit cardholders

Commercial Bank has launched its “Mega Summer Shopping Offer” for credit card customers.

Customers using their Commercial Bank credit cards are now rewarded with either bonus points or gift vouchers for all their Credit Card spending up to September 30. Commercial Bank recognises this is an important time of year when people travel overseas for vacation, and celebrate Ramadan and Eid with their families by shopping for groceries and gifts.

Under the “Mega Summer Shopping Offer”, customers are awarded bonus reward points up to 10 times the amount above what they would normally earn, equivalent to a maximum 10% cash back, in certain instances. Customers can redeem these points through Commercial Bank’s ‘FlyMiles’ or ‘Accolades’ loyalty programmes.

FlyMiles is Commercial Bank’s “innovative” loyalty programme where customers can book flights to any destination, on any date, and use any airline of their choice.

Flymiles has no blackout dates and no hidden fees or charges, and customers can use the dedicated travel site www.flymiles.qa to make all their travel arrangements.

Commercial Bank Credit Card holders can also use their reward points with Accolades to redeem for gift vouchers at a wide range of retail outlets to include jewellery, fashion, electronics, home furnishing and much more.

Commercial Bank executive general manager (Retail & Consumer Banking) Dean Proctor said, “We recognise that customers are our most valuable asset and we are always looking for new ways to reward them. At this special time of the year, when our customers are celebrating the Holy month of Ramadan or taking a vacation, what better way to thank them for their loyalty than by them up to 10% cashback on their Credit Card spending.”

He said: “We have tailored this campaign to suit our customers based on their past spending behaviour patterns and their lifestyle. Customers will be notified via SMS and e-mails throughout the three month campaign period with regular updates on how many extra bonus points they are earning, based upon their Credit Card usage.”

In addition to the bonus points and vouchers on offer, Commercial Bank Credit Cardholders continue to enjoy the widest range of benefits, including ‘0% Buy Now Pay Later’ at more than 200 outlets, exclusive offers on travel, dining and shopping in Qatar and overseas, complimentary access to over 500 executive airport lounges worldwide, complimentary travel insurance and much more.
