Mashreq Qatar launches offer on credit cards

Mashreq Qatar has announced the launch of a special promotional offer on credit card spending during the holy month of Ramadan and the summer holiday season.

Mashreq credit card holders can benefit from Triple Salaam loyalty points on Platinum cards and Double Salaam points on Gold cards for each riyal of domestic purchases made until the last day of Eid or international transactions made until August 31.

Niranjan Mendonca, head of retail, Mashreq Qatar, said the bank’s focus is to provide customers with the “most rewarding” banking relationships.

“In pursuit of this, we have developed this exciting programme that rewards all types of customers – those that stay in the country during Ramadan and Eid, as well as those who have decided to travel abroad,” Mendonca said.

He added: “As Eid approaches, spends will increase and we wanted to ensure our customers are rewarded in a special way. We want to encourage customers to use our cards while travelling since it’s hassle-free, convenient, and much safer than carrying cash.”

The additional Salaam reward points on the credit card add to an extensive list of benefits.
