Jaish loan Briki to Khor, sign al-Sulaiti

El Jaish have agreed to loan their first team player Nayef Briki to Al Khor for a single season. Briki was playing with fourth place finishers Al Sailiya last season on loan but returned to the ranks of his parent club El Jaish over the summer break.

He is now scheduled to join his new club Al Khor who are currently at their training camp in Germany during the next few hours after the completion of travel documents requested by his new club.

Meanwhile, Jaish officially announced that a contract with Abdul Aziz al-Sulaiti has been agreed.

A member of the Qatari national team, al-Sulaiti is set to join the ranks of Jaish’s first team as of next season.

The player had completed a loan spell at Al Sadd having joined during the winter transfer window and has now returned back to his parent club having impressed head coach Nabil Maâloul enough to include him in his plans for the first team next season. The team is currently in Tunisia going through their final stages of preseason training.

 

Lekhwiya make key signings

In a clear sign to back their long-term assets, Qatar Stars League (QSL) champions Lekhwiya said they extended the contracts of both Karim Boudiaf and Louis Martins on Saturday.

The two players are the midfield partnership at the heart of Lekhwiya’s success and will now remain with the club until the end of the 2019.

The announcement was made on the official club website on Saturday evening. Both players were with the club from its beginnings in the second division and have stayed at the club for the last 4 years.
