Emir issues Cabinet decision on expropriating some real estate

 

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani ratified yesterday the Cabinet decision No 45 of 2014 expropriating some real estate for the public good. The decision is effective from the date of its publication in the official gazette.

 

New ambassadors appointed

 

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued yesterday a number of Emiri decisions, appointing Mubarak Abdurrahman Mubarak al-Nasr as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Union of the Comoros (decision No 59 of 2014), appointing Khalifa Ahmed Mohamed al-Suweidi as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Turkmenistan (decision No 60) and appointing Abdullah Ibrahim Abdurrahman al-Hamar as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (decision No 62).

HH the Emir also issued decision No 61 of 2014 transferring the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mohamed Jabir Abdullah al-Sulaiti as Ambassador at the Foreign Ministry headquarters.

The decisions are effective starting from its date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.

 

Emiri decrees

 

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued yesterday Decree No 38 of 2014 approving Qatar’s accession to the 2005 Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Maritime Navigation, and shall have the force of law in accordance with Article (68) of the Constitution.

HH the Emir issued yesterday decree No 39 of 2014 approving Qatar’s accession to the Protocol for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Fixed Platforms Located on the Continental Shelf of 2005, and shall have the force of law in accordance with Article (68) of the Constitution.

The two decrees are effective as of the date of their publication in the official gazette.

 

Message from Oman

 

HE the Minister of Administrative Development Dr Issa Saad al-Jafali al-Nuaimi received today a message from Omani Minister of Civil Service Khalid bin Omar al-Marhoon covering issues of co-operation between the two ministries.

The message was delivered by Oman’s Ambassador to Qatar Mohamed bin Nasser al-Wahaibi as he met today with HE the Minister of Administrative Development.

During the meeting, they discussed the existing relations between the two countries regarding administrative development and civil service and ways of enhancing them.a
