Qatari Diar launches luxurious residential project in Istanbul

An architect’s impression of ‘Sea Pearl Ataköy’ in Istanbul. Overlooking the Sea of Marmara, the newest Qatari Diar project will comprise 1,474 luxurious apartment units and a deluxe five-star hotel with high-end boutiques featuring global brands and lavish restaurants.

Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company is embarking on a brand-new seaside residential project in Istanbul, Turkey.

The ‘Sea Pearl Ataköy’ development is “steeped in luxury and innovation”, Qatari Diar said. It is the epitome of high-end living and the perfect destination for both tourists and investors, it said.

Overlooking the Sea of Marmara, the newest Qatari Diar project in Ataköy is situated in one of the most sought after residential zones in Turkey. The development will comprise 1,474 luxurious apartment units and a deluxe five-star hotel with high-end boutiques featuring global brands and lavish restaurants.

Plotted on an impressive 128,000 sq m of land and a beautiful shoreline, this unique development will be established in a bustling central location near other hotels, shopping malls, schools, and hospitals, and will be five minutes away from Atatürk Airport, Ataköy Marina, and the ferry terminal.

The residential units from this prestigious development will go on sale today and, for the first three days, will be open to residents in Qatar. This “exclusive” offer will expire on September 19, when sales will open worldwide. Those interested in investing in the first phase of Sea Pearl Ataköy should visit the Qatari Diar Sales Centre located in Lusail City.

The official project launch was held yesterday in the presence of Qatari Diar senior management and representatives from the Turkish embassy in Qatar.

Commenting on the launch of the new project, Saad al-Otaibi, executive director (development) at Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company, said, “We are proud of our newest project, Sea Pearl Ataköy, and its ability to reinforce the growing ties between Qatar and Turkey.”

Al-Sayed said, “Istanbul is a vibrant and unique metropolis brimming with deep-rooted history and long-standing culture. This project is the perfect opportunity to showcase this beauty alongside our unique seaside architecture. Sea Pearl Ataköy is a great addition to our series of existing projects around the world, which combine trendy architectural design and the highest standards of sustainable living.”

The luxury development will be built in partnership with ‘KUZU GRUP,’ one of the most trusted construction companies in Turkey, Qatari Diar said. The residential units will be built using high-quality materials, including an earthquake resistant piled raft foundation system, central floor heating, high-end built-in kitchens, and sound insulation between each flat.

Speaking at the event, KUZU GRUP chairman Ozen Kuzu, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with such a prestigious company like Qatari Diar. We hope that the quality of the finished product and the completion of the project in a timely manner will help to strengthen the growing relationship between Qatar and Turkey. In addition, the successful delivery of the Sea Pearl Ataköy project will also be an opportunity to showcase the abilities of the KUZU GRUP and Qatari Diar.”
