New York meetings

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has met with a number of heads of delegations participating in the 69th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations. 

He  met with US Secratary of State John kerry Tunisian President Dr Mohamed Moncef Marzouki,  Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe,  Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse and Albanian President Bujar Nishani.

The meetings discussed bilateral relations and ways  to develop them, in addition to reviewing the main issues on the agenda of the current General Assembly.

HH the Emir also met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at The Peninsula Hotel in New York.

During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and ways to develop them in addition to a set of regional and international issues.

The Emir on Thurdsay night hosted a dinner banquet for the heads of the Arab countries’ delegations participating  in the 69th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
