Kahramaa holds confidence-building programme for staff

In line with its corporate objective of ensuring better and lively working environs for its employees, Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has come out with a series of personality and confidence-building programmes for its staff.

The programmes aim at the enhancement of the skills,

development of strategic thinking and improving productivity of the workers.

The two-day event included a cultural session, organised by the employee relations section of the Human Resources Department which concluded yesterday. A number of employees were benefited from the address of Husain Habib al-Sayed.

The two-day lecture was focused on how to make work place lively and happy. It is the second session of the cultural season that began at the end of June. The last of the five sessions will end next March.

Under the programme, the five sessions, each of which handled by an experienced resource person have been scheduled. The sessions will focus on life skills, techniques of making workplace lively, etiquette learning among others.

The focus of the programme is to support employees in creating

an environment where staff feel supported and encouraged in their personality development endeavors.
