Masraf Al Rayan honours long-serving staff

Masraf Al Rayan has held, for the third year, a ceremony to recognise the bank’s long-serving serving staff.

The event, which was attended by the Group CEO, senior executives and staff, featured the distribution of certificates and awards as well as a dinner.

In his speech, Group CEO Adel Mustafawi said: “I am pleased to welcome you all, and thank you for participating in this ceremony, which has become an annual event we look forward to - to honour our fellow colleagues who have completed five years in the service of Masraf Al Rayan.”

Mustafawi presented awards and certificates to 40 staff members who have completed five years of service in 2014, in addition to eight Qatari graduates representing the second batch that has successfully completed the Leadership & Management Skills (certified manager) programme, an international management training programme accredited by James Madison University, US.

He concluded his speech by saying: “I would like to assure you that our doors are always open for any constructive ideas and proposals that contribute to achieving better results for Masraf Al Rayan and enhance its place among other financial institutions. Tonight, I see colleagues who were awarded in the last two years and I see others who will be honoured tonight or the coming years, all concerned with the success and triumph of Masraf Al Rayan.”

Masraf Al Rayan recently announced that it had posted a nine-month net profit of QR1.42bn in September, up 14.1% on the same period last year.
