Microsoft has announced the local availability of the Lumia 730 Dual SIM for QR999 and 4G LTE variant Lumia 735 for QR1,099. |
With a wide-angle front-facing camera, an “affordable” price tag featured alongside integrated Microsoft experiences, both Lumia devices let people “easily capture and share more of what they want”, according to a statement.
“People are moving from using their front-facing camera to take a close-up selfie or have a solo Skype call, to making it much more about where they are and what they are doing,” said Jon French, vice-president (Middle East), Microsoft Mobile Devices. “With the Lumia 730 and Lumia 735, we’re enabling people to more easily capture and share more of what they want through unique Lumia innovation and the best Microsoft experiences.”
“Following the recent launches of the more affordable Lumia 530 and Lumia 630, the new smartphones offer our customers another unique Windows Phone 8.1 device with even more innovation, but still at an affordable price,” said Jehad al-Qudah, head of Mobility BU at CGC.
The Lumia 730 and 735 combine a “slim, vibrant style with powerful performance to create an uncompromised smartphone experience”, the statement points out.
Users can make “memorable” Skype video calls with the wide-angle front-facing camera, sharing more of the world around them or bringing more family members and friends into a call. The Full HD 5MP front-facing camera can also be used to take “unbeatable” selfies. The updated Lumia Selfie app comes pre-loaded on the devices.
The Lumia 730 and 735 will be available at all major electronic stores in Qatar in a range of colours, including bright orange, bright green and stylish neutrals such as dark grey and white.
