The Police College on Monday received an academic licensing and accreditation team from the Supreme Education Council (SEC).
The team, headed by Dr Khalid Mohamed al-Hurr, director of Higher Education Board, was received by Brigadier Dr Mohamed Abdullah al-Muhana al-Marri, director general of the Police College; Brigadier Badr Ibrahim al-Ghanim, director of technical office of the Minister of Interior; Major Dr Jabr Hamoud al-Nuaimi, director of Administrative and Financial Affairs; Prof Dr Husain Mohamed Fathi, dean of academic affairs; and a number of other officials.
The team visited facilities at the college such as classrooms, computer labs, staff room and different sports buildings and met a number of students and faculty
members.
They also attended a presentation about the measures taken by the college at the Administrative and Financial Affairs
Department building.
Dr al-Hurr praised the facilities at the college and emphasised that the facilities satisfy all the requirements and conditions of the licence.
