A glimpse from a previous Wedding Fair organised by Promoteam.

Marriages are planned at Qatar Wedding Fair

The four-day annual extravaganza will showcase everything from wedding cakes,
photography, make-up, jewellery, costumes … to an eclectic choice of caterers

Wedding preparations can always do with more variety and verve. To know just how interesting that can be, you may want to head to

the four-day annual, free-for-all extravaganza known as Qatar Wedding Fair. Beginning today, the fair will be on till Sunday at

the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).
Put together by Promoteam, who are organisers of specialty exhibitions, the Qatar Wedding Fair 2015 (QWF) promises to be a grand

affair, as more than 5,000 visitors are estimated to drop by.
Promoteam, who are also organisers of the popular Beirut Wedding Fair, calls the event as your “gateway to the wealthy Gulf

bridal products and service market.”
The sprawling spread will showcase and offer everything from wedding cakes, wedding photography, wedding apparels, and wedding

costumes to an eclectic choice of caterers.
The past eight editions in Beirut have seen more than 100,000 visitors, more than 750 participating exhibitors and around 30

couples winning cool prizes towards their magical wedding day.
The QWF seeks to expand your imagination by setting the stage and indulging your tastes with the finest in the business.
It guarantees to bring together “the most exclusive designers in fashion, the most prominent hair and make-up artistes and all

the glitz and glamour of local and international jewellers.” Likewise, it plans to present the best teams in digital sound,

lighting and photography, and a diverse range of flowers and décor to make the day most special.
While Promoteam’s first exhibitions were associated with general trade fairs, in the late ’90s, there were signs that specialty

exhibitions were missing in the market. In response, ‘Lebanon 2000’ was launched, which specialised in building raw materials’

import and sales, building services, engineering and consulting in association with the Order of Engineers and Architects.
“Following that, the ‘Protect Fire & Securitech Lebanon’ was launched aiming at the securities and fire industries of Lebanon.

‘Save the Environment’ was a series of conferences and seminars that came about in association with the American Society of

Industrial Engineering,” says Promoteam.
Since then, it has launched several events in the crème de la crème sectors, such as the Beirut Antiques Fair, Beirut Wedding

Fair, Beirut Luxury Fair and Beirut Haute Joaillerie Fair, which is a massive event, planned yearly during the Eid al-Adha

holidays.
“Despite the global economic meltdown, the Qatari economy has come out shining, making Doha the ideal platform to present luxury

to the rest of the Mena region. The most prestigious landmark to host the QWF is the QNCC – an unparalleled convention facility,

boasting iconic design and cutting-edge facilities in the world’s first green-technology venue,” says Promoteam.
Last year, the 7th International Wedding Exhibition & Fashion Show Doha (IWED), which was the only international wedding

exhibition held in Qatar, was a big success, too. Qatar Expo and international exhibitors mainly targets the event to be on the

A-list group of wedding events worldwide and establish a number of means to be the tool in allowing the opportunity to showcase

products and services, demonstrate expertise, and increase store awareness by generating sales from a qualified audience.
