The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) will hold the second Qatar Week for the well-being of patients, on the topic “Participation
of Patients” from today.
The three-day event, organised under the patronage of HE the Minister of Health, SCH Secretary General, aims at enhancing the
participation of patients in the healthcare process to play an effective role.
It also aims at encouraging constant communication between healthcare practitioners and patients and their families.
The week opens with a workshop on the topic, followed by two other related workshops. Besides, there will be a public awareness
campaign on January 23 and 24 at various shopping malls to instruct people on the best health practices and habits and how to
deal with patients safely. The first Qatar Week for the well-being of patients was held in January last year.
