Qatar was revealed as one of the strongest markets in the world for Rolls-Royce at the 2015 Qatar Motor Show, said Brett Soso, regional director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars for the Middle East, Africa and South America.
Speaking at the opening of the Qatar Motor Show, Soso said: “The Middle East region is now the second largest market for Rolls-Royce globally, achieving 20% growth in 2014.”
“Qatar has continued to play a key part in the region’s success over the last few years and has achieved another outstanding year with a sales increase of 17% in 2014,” he noted. “Although Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is a global brand, the importance of each individual market does not go unnoticed.”
“With Qatar being one of the key markets for the brand on a global and regional level, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha is regularly recognised for its contribution to the brand’s overall performance globally, and we are quietly confident of another successful year ahead in 2015,” added Soso.
The sole authorised dealer of Rolls-Royce cars in Qatar exhibited a Bespoke Wraith and Phantom Coupé at the country’s premier motoring event, both featuring an array of unique details only available through the industry-leading Bespoke Programme offered by the marque.
A pioneer in the area of personalisation, the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Bespoke Programme transforms creative requests into reality by combining painstaking craftsmanship with the pinnacle of automotive excellence.
“As one of the most important motoring events in the Middle East, the Qatar Motor Show is a great platform for us to showcase the pinnacle of automotive luxury to car aficionados from all over the world” said Mohamed Kandeel, chief operating officer, Alfardan Group – Automotive Operations.
“With the Bespoke Programme proving to be a popular choice among our discerning clientele, the Wraith and Phantom Coupé displayed are the perfect combination of automotive engineering, leading-edge technology and the highest levels of luxury.”
Since its introduction to the market in the fourth quarter of 2013, Wraith - the most powerful and dynamic Rolls-Royce in history - has experienced an incredible response from a younger audience. The striking Bespoke Wraith on display at the Qatar Motor show combines a bold English White exterior with a contrasting yet complimentary Consort Red leather interior.
Similarly, the driver-orientated model of the Phantom family, Phantom Coupé, has also proven to be a popular choice. The striking two-tone Phantom Coupé displayed at the Qatar Motor Show, which features a stunning Starlight Headliner, attracted the attention of visitors.
The two beautiful bespoke models created specifically for the discerning taste of the Qatari market will be displayed during the fifth edition of the Qatar Motor Show until Tuesday at Qatar National Convention Centre.
