Katara - the Cultural Village has launched a fine arts exhibition of 60 Qatari artists, featuring pottery, paintings and sculpture of different genres.
Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, general manager, Katara, along with Bahraini ambassador Wahid Mubarak Sayar inaugurated the exhibition at the Qatar Fine Arts Society, located in Building No.13. The exhibition will be on until the end of this month.
Dr al-Sulaiti said that the Qatari fine arts exhibition is one of the most important galleries held annually in the cultural village, and it has attracted Qatari artists from different levels.
“In addition to the professional artists, the gallery comprises novice artists who are seeking to elaborate their creative talents and communicate with other artists in a bid to exchange expertise,” he added.
Ambassador Sayar expressed his admiration for the great development of Qatari arts movements, as depicted in the works of the exhibition.
