Milan jeweller banking on loyal patrons

By Ramesh Mathew/Staff Reporter
Richly and cutely crafted creations, studded with precious stones sourced from prominent mines across the world adorn the showcase of Giloro counter at the imposing Alfardan pavilion at the Doha Jewellery and Watches
Exhibition at the QNCC.
The jeweller from Milan has all along been a participant at the show and has succeeded in winning a number of loyal jewel connoisseurs among the locals. This time, the company has come out with some of their “Flexible” bangle collections. Flexible collections are designed in such a way that they could be worn by different users.
The jeweller has a large collection of pieces, enormously rich in sapphire, and also in white and yellow diamonds. “Each of the creations consumed our designers several months to
complete,” said Marcello Benzi.
Gilono also has “Royal” collections, which are made to suit the tastes and requirements of the region’s loyal clients.
Expressing hope that the creations from Italy would continue to command enormous respect among the region’s loyal patrons, including members of the royal families, Benzi said he is looking forward for greater acceptance for Gilono in the country.
