Ezdan Palace Hotel will be launched in Doha this year, Ezdan Holding Group announced.
The upscale property in a “unique location” was being established with the help of international companies specialising in hospitality, said Group CEO Ali al-Obaidli.
The hotel will have some 210 guest rooms and suites, which Ezdan said will
“add value to the market”.
He said Ezdan Mall at Al Wakrah and Al Wukair will also be opened this year. These two malls are expected to contribute to further development of these two fast growing Doha suburbs.
Ezdan Mall at Al Wukair will comprise some 11 commercial buildings and will be spread over a total area of 534,000 sq m.
Ezdan Holding Group said the number of its endowed stocks for charity stood at 605mn with a value of QR10.2bn (as of February 23).
The endowment is an initiative of Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah al-Thani, founder of the Ezdan Holding Group.
This includes 22.8% of the group's total shares, of about 2.65bn shares, amounting to QR310mn.
