Katara Director General Dr Khalid al-Sulaiti discussed with Palestinian Ambassador Munir Ghannam the possibility of hosting of Palestinian cultural events.
They reviewed cultural co-operation between Katara and the Palestinian Embassy in Doha and ways of enhancing bonds of brotherhood between the people of the two states.
Al-Sulaiti expressed his delight at Katara becoming a destination for Arab, local and international cultural events.
He said Katara has become a forum for networking with various cultures in the world, with the aim of deepening mutual understanding among all peoples.
The ambassador praised the importance of Katara’s cultural events, which had become a destination for visitors from inside ands outside the country.
He also lauded Qatar’s support for the Palestinian issue and stressed the depth of relations between two peoples.
