The President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic yesterday received the credentials of Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad al-Thani as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Serbia.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed the greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the Serbian president, wishing him the best of health and further progress and prosperity to the Serbian people.
For his part, President Tomislav Nikolic asked Sheikh Mubarak al-Thani to convey his greetings to HH the Emir and his wishes of further prosperity and progress to the Qatari people.
The Serbian president also wished the ambassador success in his new assignment to support and enhance relations and co-operation between Qatar and the Republic of Serbia.
