Mowasalat has showcased some of its training tools and equipment at an exhibition being held as part of the GCC Traffic Week celebrations at Darb Al Saai grounds.
The expo held under the theme “Your decision determines your destiny” has attracted the participation of a number of government departments.
In a statement yesterday, Mowasalat said the company’s participation in the event is with the main aim of creating more awareness among people on safety and protection of their lives on the country’s roads.
Mowasalat, it said, aims to motivate the public to be careful while driving and the company wants to deliver through its simulators a practical professional experience that enhances trainees’ alertness and attention.
The Karwa driving school of the company is equipped with training tools, including the seatbelt convincer, rollover simulator, correct head positioning equipment and special glasses that warn drivers against vision obstacles. All these are showcased at the expo as well.
Specialised trainers are available to explain to the public the functioning of each equipment.
Mowasalat has also showcased a model school bus. It is equipped with security and safety features, which occupants (students) need to follow. Further, Mowasalat is distributing brochures and leaflets of traffic guidelines and related information.
The transport company has also showcased its achievements in the areas of training, driving and public transportation.
