HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani meeting GCC ministers of communication who participated in the fourth meeting of the GCC e-Government Ministerial Committee in Doha. The meeting was chaired by HE the Minister of Information and Communications Technology Dr Hessa Sultan al-Jaber. The committee discussed enhancing GCC work and exchanging expertise in the field of e-government. The goal would be to improve business environment by providing high-quality electronic services. The meeting also launched the first web portal that links GCC member-countries. The portal will link the GCC government websites. The GCC ministers of
communication and Secretary-General of the GCC Council Dr Abdul Latif al-Zayani were present during the launch.
